CECI Scacchi

This chess set was created as an exclusive gift for Cantine Ceci, inspired by the iconic silhouettes of Ceci wine bottles. Each chess piece — pawns, bishops, knights, rooks, kings, and queens — takes the shape of a different bottle, turning the chessboard into an object with strong symbolic value. Both the chessboard and the pieces are made of plexiglass: satin-finished for the light pieces, glossy black for the opposing ones. All elements are custom-designed and laser-cut, with careful attention to proportions and formal quality. The set is completed by a compact, easily transportable box, conceived as an integral part of the project. The project brings together the pleasure of wine and the game of chess, creating an experience of relaxation and conviviality, conceived as a gesture of giving and sharing.
